Annie is married and lives on the Shotley peninsular. She worked initially as a primary school teacher before changing careers to work for 15 years in the private sector and 10 years in the public sector.  She is the Chairman of the Monitoring and Audit Committee and Performance Management Group. 

Annie says: " I applied to become a member of the Police Authority because I see it as very important to keep Suffolk as one of the safest counties in the country.  This can only happen by ensuring local communities receive the best quality police services.  The challenge is to make this happen despite the economic climate and I am glad to be able use the skills I have acquired during my working life to work with the Authority, the Constabulary and its partners to achieve this."
