Patricia is married with four children and seven grand children.
Patricia has a degree in History and Government and for the past 11 years has been involved in local politics. She became a District Councillor in 1999 and served on Suffolk Coastal District Council Cabinet as Portfolio Holder for Health and Well-Being. In 2001 she was elected to Suffolk County Council and from 2005-2009 she was Portfolio Holder for Children, Schools and Young People's Services.
Patricia says:“I was delighted to be appointed to the Police Authority in July 2009. I believe my experience, particularly with young people, can be of value in addressing many of the social issues that the police and community must tackle in order to ensure Suffolk remains one of the safest counties in the country.”
