Tim lives in Haverhill on the borders of Suffolk with Essex and Cambridge and is married with four grown-up children.  He is a County and Borough Councillor and has been a member of the Police Authority since 2007.  Prior to retirement he worked in a multi-national company in the crop protection industry for over 30 years, managing product development and registration programmes in the UK.

Tim is the Police Authority Link Member for Haverhill SNT, which he also chairs, ensuring that the police address local community issues making the town a safe place for all its residents to enjoy, and giving the public confidence in the policing service.
