People and Communities Committee
The People and Communities Committee is responsible for considering issues such as human resources, health and safety and communications.
Membership: Six to eight members of the Authority. Currently:

Terms of reference:
1. To consider human resources issues.
2. To consider health and safety issues.
3. To consider significant changes to the terms and conditions of police staff.
4. To undertake liaison with recognised staff representatives.
5. To consider issues relating to consultation, communications, liaison, marketing and partnerships.
6. To maintain and develop the operation of the Custody Visitors Scheme.
7. To consider the coporate learning emerging from the above business areas and how it may contribute to the development of policing the county.
