The Chief Executive is a statutory role, and is responsible for ensuring that the Authority is properly administered, runs smoothly and receives all relevant advice and guidance relating to its functions. 

The Chief Executive is the Authority's principal adviser and is responsible for the efficient administration of the Authority. As the statutory Monitoring Officer he is also responsible for ensuring that the Authority conducts its business lawfully. 

A solicitor by profession, Chris has been involved with policing in Suffolk since 1986. He was appointed Clerk to the Authority in 2002 and since 2006 has served as the Chief Executive.
