Vanessa has worked for the Police Authority since 2003, when she was sub contracted part-time from the Suffolk County Council to support the Authority to achieve its Best Value Statutory Duty.
Vanessa's background is in local authority policy, performance management and research work, all of which are useful in her role as Policy Officer. She has worked full-time for the Authority since January 2006 and her role is primarily to advise and inform members, develop policy and support projects.
